Position:  Construction Administrative Assistant

Supervisor: Commercial Superintendent

Classification:  Full-time, hourly non-exempt based on experience

Summary Description:

The Construction Administrative Assistant will assist the Superintendents with completing administrative duties during the company’s construction projects on the jobsite. This position will act as the liaison between the client, vendors, subcontractors, Superintendents and Director of Construction. This position will travel to the jobsite, locations will vary.

Construction Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct phone calls
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
• Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Maintain a filing system
• Maintain contact lists
• Book travel arrangements
• Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
• Assist with field support when needed
• Travel to jobsite
• Other administrative or clerical duties as assigned by manager

Requirements (knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• Prior construction and safety related experience is preferred
• Prior solar related experience is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work product, and ability to multi-task under tight time pressures
• Highly proficient in Excel, Word and online programs to communicate and build reports
• Must have a clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and pre-employment and random drug screenings
• Must be able to travel
