The USDA-RD Reap Grant
The Rural Energy for America Program has been provided over $2 billion for renewable energy systems and energy efficiency improvement grants for agricultural producers and rural small business owners through 2031. The USDA REAP Grant program, available in New Mexico and across the country, is undergoing numerous changes with the infusion of funds from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
Rural Development is accepting applications for six quarterly competitions through September 30, 2024. Agricultural Producers and Rural Small Businesses may qualify for:
- 50% Grant Reimbursement of Total System Cost
- Maximum award of $1,000,000
